Picture this, Seinfeld calls you up and wants to pick you up for some coffee. What car does he pick you up in?

I will start, Lancia Stratos!

Toyota 2000GT
We're already in make believe land, so why not go whole-hog

You want to be third-gear-second-based by Jerry Seinfeld?
![]() 01/31/2014 at 18:15 |

Sure! Who wouldn't? I wouldn't give a shit if it was a hairy truck driver, as long as it was in a Stratos

He doesn't.

1995 Saab 900 SE convertible, black.

Citroen Traction Avant cabriolet. Dont know why, but I think it would look great and be a good fit

But if he did, it would be a pinto wagon.

Porsche 904.
Built for purpose. No nonsense. I doubt I would fit.

I can't stand him.
And I don't like being driven places.

So I guess he can't even drive you crazy?

Either an early Jag E-type or a Citroen DS19...either will do.

Nope, just annoys me.

I would be super stoked if it was a 32-34 ford hot rod. Or a 1967-69 Camaro Z/28 RS

Early 70's Ford F100. Or a Pantera.
I'm cool with either one.
Let me know what time I should expect you, Jerry.

do i know he's coming to get me, or does he just pull up on the corner?

A C10 Skyline GTR

While I'd love a Porsche, that's pretty predictable by now. How 'bout something different. Some big 'ol "domestic" car, but not exactly a U.S. model?

My only hope would be and RS200...
but I would doubt that happening, even if I was going to be on the show.

I feel like if Jerry really knew me and wanted to pick a car that is me without me even knowing it, it would probably be the Pontiac 6000 STE. It had all-wheel-drive and competed with Audi's. It wasn't a great car, but it tried, and there's something kind of endearing about that. GM did something a bit different with it, and I have to give them a nod for that. I'd smile as he pulled up in it and marvel at all the little details and its quirky '80s-ish-ness.
